Bodill Education

Our Services

Extra Lessons:

We specialise in providing extra lessons to pupils Grade 1-12, focussing on Maths, Applied Maths, Afrikaans, English and Foundation Phase education. This is done for both Government and IEB syllabi.

Corporate Projects:

We have been actively involved with the Mr Price Group for the last 8 years (through the MRP Foundation), and work closely with them on various educational projects both locally and in the Kwadukuza area. We would love to do more with corporate clients who share our values and desire to use education to support all parents, children and communities around us.

Workshops And Events:

A recent goal has been to host and run workshops for parents, teachers and therapists; the first of which took place earlier this year, and focused on learning difficulties and barriers to learning. It was a great success with over 30 delegates attending the first workshop, which brought together 3 leading experts in this field as speakers. More such events will be planned for the future.

School Support:

Independently we also have a real desire to support and uplift the children and teachers, in both local and previously underprivileged schools. We currently run weekly lessons at North Crest Primary School, and the response has been overwhelming, and we hope to do more with other schools going forward.

Guest Speakers:

Greg and Karen have also acted as guest speakers themselves, talking on matters related to education, and supporting a child’s academic success, and recently were invited to speak to parents at a large corporate Head Office in Durban; something that they will be doing more of within schools and other businesses alike.

Learning Material:

Educational Approach

Initially, we will assess your child to determine their needs, and then create an individual learning programme for them. As a team of experienced educators, we have spent many years developing our own worksheets and exercises to use in these sessions with your child. These we use alongside relevant textbooks, to ensure that we comprehensively cover the syllabus.

Over and above this, we have also made a point of assisting the pupils in their preparation for exam time. We constantly draw on numerous past papers, to allow the child to practice for their tests and exams. We also ensure that all exercises are linked to the work that your child will be doing at school, in their particular grade.

We therefore attack the lessons from both ends of the spectrum. The one end consists of filling the gaps that have appeared over the years. This end is Skill appropriate. The other end is keeping the pupil abreast of the current work they are experiencing at school. This end is Grade appropriate. The pupil is therefore assisted in all areas.
